न कामकर्मबीजानां यस्य चेतसि सम्भवः ।
वासुदेवैकनिलयः स वै भागवतोत्तमः ॥

na kāma-karma-bījānāṁ yasya cetasi sambhavaḥ |
vāsudevaika-nilayaḥ sa vai bhāgavatottamaḥ ||

“One whose sole shelter is Vāsudeva—in whose mind there is no appearance of kāmas, karmas, or [their] causes—is verily the best of Bhāgavatas.”

Commentary

ekāntitāyāḥ sāmānya-lakṣaṇaṁ—vāsudevaḥ vasudeva-nandanaḥ śrī-kṛṣṇa evaiko nilaya āśrayo yasyeti | tal-liṅgam eva darśayati—kāmāś cābhilāṣā viṣaya-bhogā vā, karmāṇi tat-kāraṇāni tat-siddhy-artha-ceṣṭā vā, bījāni ca vāsanāḥ, tan-mūlāni teṣāṁ yasya cetasy api sambhava utpattir na syād iti | sarvathā bhagavad-eka-niṣṭhayā tad-anya-bāhyāntara-ceṣṭādi-rahito ya ity arthaḥ |

“The general characteristic of one-pointedness (ekāntitā) [is described here]: one whose sole dwelling (nilaya), that is, shelter, is Vāsudeva, that is, the son of Vasudeva, Śrī Kṛṣṇa. The speaker shows the specific indicator of this [i.e., of being one whose sole shelter is Vāsudeva]: even in the mind of whom no appearance, that is, emergence, shall occur of these—kāmas, that is, desires or enjoyment of objects of the senses (viṣaya); karmas, that is, means to these or endeavor to attain them; or [their] causes, that is, vāsanās, their sources. Thus, one who is in all respects by virtue of singular fixity upon Bhagavān free from external and internal endeavor and so forth for anything other than him [is one who is sheltered in and one-pointed upon Bhagavān]. This is the meaning.”

cetasy ādau bījāni vāsanā utpadyante | tataḥ stry-ādi-viṣayakaḥ kāmas tataḥ karma indriya-dvārā tat-tad-vyāpāraḥ | etat tritayasya yac cetasi na sambhavaḥ |

“First, causes, that is, vāsanās, arise in the mind, then kāma related to women and so on, and then karma, that is, enaction of those [kāmas] through the senses. One in whose mind there is no appearance of these three [is one who is sheltered in Bhagavān and the best of Bhāgavatas].”
