त्वं तु सर्वं परित्यज्य स्नेहं स्वजनबन्धुषु ।
मय्यावेश्य मन: सम्यक् समदृग् विचरस्व गाम् ॥
tvaṁ tu sarvaṁ parityajya snehaṁ svajana-bandhuṣu |
mayy āveśya manaḥ samyak sama-dṛg vicarasva gām ||

[Kṛṣṇa:] “But you [i.e., O Uddhava] should completely forsake all affection for relatives and friends, fully absorb your mind in me, and, being of equal vision, wander the earth.”
Commentary
teṣu tat-sneho dvividhaḥ—mat-paricayāt prathamata eva sva-deha-sambandhenaikaḥ, mat-sambandhottho dvitīyaḥ | tat pūrva eva tvayā tyaktuṁ śakyaḥ, sa eva mayā tyāge vidhīyate, na tūttaraḥ, tvad-aśakyatvād avigītatvāc ceti bhagavad-āśaya uddhavena jñāyata eva ||

“Affection for them [i.e., relatives and friends] is of two types: firstly, based on my acquaintance, one [type] is because of [their] relationship with one’s own body; the second is based on [their] relationship with me [i.e., Kṛṣṇa]. The former you are able to reject. That specifically [i.e., the first type of affection] is enjoined for rejection by me, but not the latter, because of your being incapable [of rejecting that second type of affection] and it not being censured [i.e., such affection not being fit to be rejected, and, rather, its being valuable]. In this way Bhagavān’s intent was definitively understood by Uddhava.”
