Commentary
अखिला रसा वक्ष्यमाणाः शान्ताद्या द्वादश यस्मिन्तादृशममृतं परमानन्द एव मूर्तिर्यस्य सः । … तत्रापि रसविशेषविशिष्टपरिकरवैशिष्ट्येनाविर्भाववैशिष्ट्यं दृश्यते । अत एवादिरसविशेषविशिष्टसम्बन्धेन नितराम् ।
akhilā rasā vakṣyamāṇāḥ śāntādyā dvādaśa yasmin tādṛśam amṛtaṁ paramānanda eva mūrtir yasya saḥ | … tatrāpi rasa-viśeṣa-viśiṣṭa-parikara-vaiśiṣṭyenāvirbhāva-vaiśiṣṭyaṁ dṛśyate | ata evādi-rasa-viśeṣa-viśiṣṭa-sambandhena nitarām |

“[The compound akhila-rasāmṛta-mūrtiḥ means] He whose figure (mūrti) is itself the nectar (amṛta), that is, the intense bliss, within all (akhila) rasas, that is, the forthcoming twelve [rasas] known as śānta and so forth [i.e., he whose figure is the embodiment of the bliss of all rasas]. … Furthermore in that regard, a specificity of manifestation [of Śrī Kṛṣṇa, the akhila-rasāmṛta-mūrti] because of the specificity of his associates [who are all] specified by a specific rasa is observable; it occurs completely because of a relation with they who are specified by the specific rasa known as ‘the original’ (ādi) [meaning, madhura-rasa; i.e., the ultimate manifestation of Śrī Kṛṣṇa, the akhila-rasāmṛta-mūrti, is his manifestation in relation to those associates of his who relish madhura-rasa, among whom the gopīs are foremost and Śrī Rādhikā is paramount].”
