त्वय्यम्बुजाक्षाखिलसत्त्वधाम्निसमाधिनावेशितचेतसैके ।
त्वत्पादपोतेन महत्कृतेनकुर्वन्ति गोवत्सपदं भवाब्धिम् ॥
tvayy ambujākṣākhila-sattva-dhāmni
samādhināveśita-cetasaike |
tvat-pāda-potena mahat-kṛtena
kurvanti govatsa-padaṁ bhavābdhim ||

“O you of lotus eyes, with the boat of your feet made by the great through the mind being absorbed in meditation (samādhi) upon you, the abode of pure existence, the exalted turn the ocean of material existence into the hoofprint of a calf.”
Commentary
astu tāvat tvad-rūpāvirbhāva-samaya-gatānāṁ vārtāṁ anyad api mano-mātreṇāpi labdha-tvad-āśrayāṇām anāyāsenākhila-saṁsāra-duḥkha-nāśaḥ parama-sukha-rūpatva-prāptiś ca bhavati tat-prasaṅgenānyeṣām api tādṛśatvaṁ saṁpadyata ity āhuḥ tvayīti dvābhyām | parama-sukhātmake tat-pāra-tīrāyamāne tvayi he ambujākṣeti parama-saundaryam uddiṣṭam ayam āveśe hetuḥ | kiṁ ca akhilasyākhaṇḍasya sattvasya cic-chakti-vṛtti-viśeṣācintyāparimita-sarva-sad-guṇātmaka-tvadīya-svarūpa-sukhābhivyañjaka-śuddha-sattvasya dhāmni āśraye … |

“Now let discussion of those present at the time of the appearance of your form be [i.e., let us now discuss another topic]: easy destruction of all the suffering of saṁsāra and the attainment of the state of the highest happiness occur even for others [i.e., for those not present during the time of your avatāra on the earth] who have attained your shelter even just by means of the mind, and even others attain such [i.e., the destruction of suffering and attainment of the highest happiness] by that association [i.e., just by the association of one who has taken shelter of you within the mind and attain the highest happiness along with the destruction of all suffering]. Thus, they speak these two verses. ‘Upon you’ (tvayi) means upon you who are of the nature of the highest happiness and are like the bank on the shore [of the ocean of material existence]. By, ‘O you of lotus eyes’ (ambujākṣa), the greatest beauty is alluded to, and this is the cause of absorption [of the mind, i.e., Bhagavān’s unparalleled beauty absorbs the mind like nothing else]. Furthermore, ‘the abode of pure existence’ (akhila-sattva-dhāmni) means you are the shelter (dhāmni) of indivisible (akhila) sattva, that is, the pure existence (śuddha-sattva) indicative of the happiness of your nature (svarūpa), [manifest by] a particular function (vṛtti) of the cit-śakti, which is inconceivable, unlimited, and constituted of all good qualities.”
tvayi bhava-samudra-pāra-parama-sukhada-dvīpāyamāne mahat-kṛtena paramādara-viṣayīkṛtena tvat-pādenaiva potena āveśitaṁ praveśitaṁ tac cetaḥ tena bhavābdhiṁ govatsa-padaṁ kurvanti tad-ānandena tad-astitvam api na jānantīty arthaḥ |

“With the mind (cetasa) aboard (āveśita) the boat of your feet (tvat-pādenaiva potena) [by meditation (samādhi)] upon you (tvayi), who are like a supremely delightful island at the extremity of the ocean of material existence and made the object of supreme adoration by the great (mahat-kṛtena), [the exalted] turn the ocean of material existence (bhavādhiṁ) into the hoofprint of a calf (govatsa-padaṁ), meaning, they do not know [i.e., they lose awareness] even of its existence because of that bliss [i.e., the bliss of being absorbed in Bhagavān].”
samādhinā pṛthivyām avatīrṇasya tava rūpa-guṇa-līlādi-dhyānātiśayena tvayy āveśitaṁ yac cetas tena hetunā prāptena tvat-pāda-potena mahat-kṛtena mahadbhir bhavābdheḥ pota-tulyīkṛtenety arthaḥ | govatsa-padaṁ kurvanti bhavābdher astitvam api na jānantīty arthaḥ |

“With the boat of your feet (tvat-pāda-potena) made by the great (mahat-kṛtena), meaning, made like a boat for [crossing] the ocean of material existence by the great, as a result of, or, attained by, the mind being absorbed (āveśita-cetasa) in you (tvayi) through intense meditation (samādhinā) upon the forms, qualities, līlās, and so forth of you who have descended to the earth, the exalted turn the ocean of material existence into the hoofprint of a calf, meaning, they do not know [i.e., they lose awareness] even of the existence of the ocean of material existence [itself].”
