“Having thus described the greatness [of nāma-kīrtana] in the form of eradicating all faults, now he [i.e., the author] describes [nāma-kīrtana’s greatness in] the form of being a producer of all qualities up to the state of completeness beginning with this verse (mantratas … ). Saṅkīrtana of your name certainly makes flawless, that is, fills the voids [created by], all flaws, that is, deficiencies, [in yajñas] related to mantras on account of faulty pronunciation of vowels and so forth, [flaws] related to procedures on account of wrong sequencing [of steps] and so forth, [flaws] related to place, [flaws] related to time, [flaws] related to eligibility, that is, fitness, on account of impurity and so forth, and [flaws] related to ingredients such as donations and so forth; and [saṅkīrtana of your name] also produces greater results [than any yajña would otherwise on its own]. This is the meaning.”
