“I have obeyed the wicked dictates of kāma and so forth for so long and in so many ways! Yet they have never taken pity upon me, and I have never felt any shame or satisfaction! O Lord of the Yadus, at last I have abandoned them and attained proper understanding: I have taken shelter in you, the Abode of fearlessness. Please engage me in your service.”

(Sādhanāmṛta-candrikā: 1.12)

“O Śrīvāsa and so forth! O Embodiments of grace! You are all desire-trees [manifest] from the ocean of prema for Gauracandra, of peaceful and tranquil nature, and givers of prema who are most firm in your vows to deliver the poor. Therefore, please purify me, an ignorant sinner, with the dust from the tips of our feet.”

“Bho! O sovereign among the associates of Prabhu, please bestow upon this lowly person firm śraddhā in Gaura, the pure and unparalleled embodiment of tasting the sweet nectar of the rasa of Śrī Rādhā and Kṛṣṇa’s līlā. I worship him, Śrī Nityānandacandra, the giver of Gaura and shelter to the fallen, by neglecting whose feet all talk of bhajana becomes completely false like a dream.”

Please protect me.”
