(Stavāvalī: Vraja-vilāsa-stava, 91)

“He whose beautiful, tender lotus feet

Śrī Rādhā intently raised for her own pleasure,

But even then became fearful

Because of the [imagined] fault of hardness

And did not hold atop the tips of her breasts

Although she is [most] tender [in figure]—

May [he,] Śeṣa-śāyī,

Extend to us

Eternal residence in beautiful Vraja.”

“Remember in joyful Vṛndāvana

Govinda of lotus eyes

Enchanting unceasingly

Thousands of gopa girls,

Their own bumblebees eyes directed

Towards the lotus of his face,

Captivated by arrows of kāma,

Long eager for his embraces,

Bowed by the weight of their full, raised breasts

Shining with pearl necklaces [draped over them],

Their chignons and garments disheveled,

Their speech wavering with passion,

Adorned with quivering lips

Shining with the splendor

Of their rows of teeth,

And alluring [him] with various amorous movements

Filled with bhāva.”

(Bṛhad Bhāgavatāmṛta: 1.1.3)

“Bearing a golden luster,

The name Kṛṣṇa Caitanya,

And the garb of an ascetic,

He who has descended here [amongst us]

With the form of a bhakta

Out of intense desire

After reflecting on the fine sweetness

Of the bhāva for himself

Of his own beloveds

In comparison to his own bhāva [for them]—

[He,] Hari, the Son of Śrī Śacī,

Triumphs!”

Who descended to bestow prema

For his own lotus feet,

Who is an ocean

Of various sweetnesses,

Who is fragrant with adolescence,

And whose everlasting prema for the gopīs,

Having attained the ultimate limit

Of the highest state,

Has reached the position of experience [for others]

Because of his form of Caitanya—
Triumphs!”

“Filled with the delight of the commencement of presently manifested youth, possessed of the beauty of a mild smile which has crushed the pride of the spotless, shining lord of the night [i.e., the full moon], and enriched with fresh, mildly expressed arts of the bearer of five arrows [i.e., Kāmadeva], this mādhurya of Murāri maddens the minds of the madira-eyed [i.e., the gopīs, whose ravishing eyes elicit remembrance of the wagtail (madira)].”
