अर्चयन्ति सदा विष्णुं मनोवाक्कायकर्मभिः ।
तेषां हि वचनं कार्यं ते हि विष्णुसमा मताः ॥
arcayanti sadā viṣṇuṁ mano-vāk-kāya-karmabhiḥ |
teṣāṁ hi vacanaṁ kāryaṁ te hi viṣṇu-samā matāḥ ||

“The directives of those who constantly worship Viṣṇu with their minds, words, bodies, and actions should be followed, since they are indeed considered equal to Viṣṇu.”
Commentary
atra ca gaṇakānāṁ vyavasthāpakānāṁ ca śāstra-vidāṁ bahūnāṁ vivādena sandehe sati śrī-bhagavad-bhakti-parāṇāṁ vacanenaiva vyavahartavyaṁ, na tv anyeṣām |

“When doubt arises in this regard [i.e., as to when to observe a vrata] as a result of disagreement amongst numerous astrologers and administrators who are learned in śāstra, only the directives of those who are dedicated to Bhagavad-bhakti should be followed, and not [those] of others.”
