किमलभ्यं भगवति प्रसन्ने श्रीनिकेतने ।
तथापि तत्परा राजन्नाभिवाञ्छन्ति किञ्चन ॥
kim alabhyaṁ bhagavati prasanne śrī-niketane |
tathāpi tat-parā rājan nābhivāñchanti kiñcana ||

“What is unattainable when the Abode of Śrī, Bhagavān, is satisfied? [Nothing.] Still, O King, those who are devoted to him do not at all desire anything [other than him].”
Commentary
kiṁ katamat traiguṇya-viṣayaṁ siddhy-ādikaṁ turīyaṁ vā mokṣa-sukhaṁ, pañcamaṁ bhakti-sukhaṁ vā alabhyaṁ bhavati? api tu sarvam eva sulabhaṁ syād ity arthaḥ | … tat-parāḥ śrī-bhagavad-eka-niṣṭhāḥ kiñcit tādṛśaṁ bhagavad-vyatiriktaṁ nābhito vāñchanti, sakāmatvena tathā vividhecchayā svātantryeṇa ca tatparatva-hāneḥ | abhi-śabdasyāvāñchana-samyaktve tātparyam | … ekāntinaḥ kiñcid anyan na vāñchanti, kintu tam evābhivāñchantīty arthaḥ | ato bhagavad-darśanādīnām api tat-paratāyām eva paryavasānāt tāny eva tena vāñchitāni, na tv anyad iti bhāvaḥ | yad vā, avāñchyamānam api durlabham api paramārtha-sukhaṁ tat-paratvābhijñena śrī-bhagavataiva deyam ity abhivāñchanti |

“What, which of the following—objects of the sense made of the three guṇas, siddhis and so forth, or, the fourth [puruṣārtha], the bliss of mokṣa, or, the fifth [puruṣārtha], the bliss of bhakti—is unattainable [when the Abode of Śrī, Bhagavān, is satisfied]? Indeed, rather, all of these shall be easy to attain. This is the meaning. … Those who are devoted to him, that is, those possessed of fixity solely in Śrī Bhagavān, do not at all desire anything other than Bhagavān because of the diminution of devotedness as a result of being desirous (sakāma) [of other objects] and as a result of independent desire of various types [i.e., as a result of fostering desires that are separate from Bhagavān and bhakti to him]. … The meaning is that the one-pointed [upon Śrī Bhagavān] do not desire anything else, and rather, fully desire him alone. Thus, because of the sight (darśana) of Bhagavān and so forth [i.e., as well as being in his presence, personally serving himself, and so on] also amounting to [i.e., ultimately being part of] devotedness to him, these certainly are desired by one [i.e., by a one-pointed bhakta of Bhagavān], but not anything else [i.e., but not anything that is extraneous to devotedness to him]. This is the meaning. … Alternately, [the sense is that] spiritual (paramārtha) bliss, although it is not to be desired and although it is difficult to attain, is able to be given only by Śrī Bhagavān, who is fully aware of [the] devotedness [of his one-pointed bhaktas]. Thus, [the devoted do not] desire [it] at all [since it will come to them whensoever Śrī Bhagavān deems fit].”
