Kṛṣṇa

tvam eva mātā ca pitā tvam eva

tvam eva mātā ca pitā tvam eva
tvam eva bandhuś ca sakhā tvam eva |
tvam eva vidyā draviṇaṁ tvam eva
tvam eva sarvaṁ mama deva-deva ||
(Pāṇḍava-gītā: 28)

[Gāndhārī to Bhagavān Śrī Kṛṣṇa:] “You alone are my mother. You alone are my father. You alone are my kinsman. You alone are my friend. You alone are my knowledge. You alone are my wealth. You alone are everything to me, O Deva of the devas!”

tasmād bhavantam anavadyam ananta-pāraṁ

tasmād bhavantam anavadyam ananta-pāraṁ
sarva-jñam īśvaram akuṇṭha-vikuṇṭha-dhiṣṇyam |
nirviṇṇa-dhīr aham u he vṛjinābhitapto
nārāyaṇaṁ nara-sakhaṁ śaraṇaṁ prapadye ||
(Śrīmad Bhāgavatam: 11.7.18)

“[Uddhava to Kṛṣṇa:] U he [i.e., O Bhagavān]! Therefore I, of despondent mind and [thus] stricken with distress, take shelter in you, the flawless, endless and boundless, all-knowing Capable One, you whose abode is unchecked Vaikuṇṭha, you who are the refuge of [all] beings [including even Mahāviṣṇu], and [still so also who are] the friend of [all] human beings [i.e., you descend to uplift them all].”

satyasya te sva-dṛśa ātmana ātmano’nyaṁ
vaktāram īśa vibudheṣv api nānucakṣe |
sarve vimohita-dhiyas tava māyayeme
brahmādayas tanu-bhṛto bahir-artha-bhāvāḥ ||
(Śrīmad Bhāgavatam: 11.7.17)

[Uddhava to Kṛṣṇa:] “O Capable One, I do not see even among the devas a speaker suitable for me of the self-appearing Reality, the Ātmā, other than yourself, as all these embodied beings beginning with Brahmā [i.e., all the living beings that can be found within saṁsāra], their minds severely bewildered by your māyā, consider the external to be the object [i.e., they all consider the objects of the senses (viṣayas) to be the rightful focus on their awareness and endeavors].”

kula-vidyā-ādi upalakṣaṇa sakala |
sabāre poṣaye kṛṣṇa, kṛṣṇa sarva-bala ||
(Caitanya-bhāgavata: 1.7.132)

“Nobility, learning, and so on are all [merely] incidental characteristics. Kṛṣṇa nourishes everyone; Kṛṣṇa is the strength of all.”

yasya prabhā prabhavato jagad-aṇḍa-koṭi-
koṭiṣv aśeṣa-vasudhādi-vibhūti-bhinnam |
tad brahma niṣkalam anantam aśeṣa-bhūtaṁ
govindam ādi-puruṣaṁ tam ahaṁ bhajāmi ||

“I serve him, Govinda, the Original Person, whose effulgence is the indivisible, unlimited, and all-pervading Brahman distinct from the opulence of the innumerable earths and so forth throughout the billions of material universes.”

bhavān hi kāraṇaṁ tatra sarva-jño jagad-īśvaraḥ |
anugrahaṁ nigrahaṁ vā manyase tad vidhehi naḥ ||
(Śrīmad Bhāgavatam: 10.16.59)

“Because you, the all-knowing Īśvara of the universe, are the cause in this regard [i.e., of one giving up your māyā], please give us mercy or punishment, as you think [fit].”

dharmo’tha pāpa‑nicayaḥ śrutayas tapāṁsi
brahmādi‑kīṭa‑patagāvadhayaś ca jīvāḥ |
yad‑datta‑mātra‑vibhava‑prakaṭa‑prabhāvā
govindam ādi‑puruṣaṁ tam ahaṁ bhajāmi ||
(Brahma-saṁhitā: 5.53)

“I serve him, Govinda, the Original Person, by whose granted power alone are dharma, sins, the Śrutis, austerities, and all living beings beginning from Brahmā on down to worms and insects possessed of manifest influence.”

dṛṣṭaṁ śrutaṁ bhūta-bhavad-bhaviṣyat
sthāsnuś cariṣṇur mahad alpakaṁ ca |
vinācyutād vastu tarāṁ na vācyaṁ
sa eva sarvaṁ paramātma-bhūtaḥ ||
(Śrīmad Bhāgavatam: 10.46.43)

“By no means can any object—seen or heard, of the past, present, or future, great or small, mobile or immobile—be named apart from Acyuta. He, the [internally] present Paramātma [i.e., fundamental existence within all objects], is indeed everything.”

māthurānugṛhītārya vipra-vaṁśābdhi-candramaḥ |
kṣemaṁ śrī-jana-śarmāṁs te kaccid rājati sarvataḥ ||
kṣemaṁ sa-parivārasya mama tvad-anubhāvataḥ |
tvat-kṛpākṛṣṭa-citto’smi nityaṁ tvad-vartma-vīkṣakaḥ ||
diṣṭyā smṛto’smi bhavatā diṣṭyā dṛṣṭaś cirād asi |
svādhīno’smi tava brahman ramasvātra yadṛcchayā ||
(Bṛhad Bhāgavatāmṛta: 2.7.39)

[Bhagavān to Janaśarmā:] “O blessed noble of Mathurā, you are the moon of the ocean of the dynasty of brāhmaṇas. O Śrī Janaśarmā, are you indeed well in all respects? I along with my family am well by your influence. My heart is attracted by your grace, and I always look towards your path [i.e., towards the path by which you arrive to see me, wondering, ‘When will you arrive?’]. By [my] good fortune, I am remembered by you, and by [my] good fortune, you are seen by me [today] after so long. O brāhmaṇa, I am completely dependent upon you. Please enjoy here [with me] as you wish.”

kiṁ citram acyuta tavaitad aśeṣa-bandho
dāseṣv ananya-śaraṇeṣu yad ātmasāttvam |
yo’rocayat saha mṛgaiḥ svayam īśvarāṇāṁ
śrīmat-kirīṭa-taṭa-pīḍita-pāda-pīṭhaḥ ||
(Śrīmad Bhāgavatam: 11.29.4)

“O infallible One (Acyuta)! O Friend of all! Is this subjection of yours to servants of unalloyed shelter [i.e., your servants who are averse to all practices of karma, jñāna, yoga, and so forth—everything apart from bhakti to you] astonishing for you, who yourself can delight [even] with animals, [even though you are also he] whose foot pedestal is shaken by the tips of the majestic crowns of īśvaras [i.e., Śiva, Brahmā, and others, when they bow down to you]?”
