Kṛṣṇa Dāsa Bābājī

ye tīrtha-pramitāḥ punanti jagataḥ sad-vaidya-kalpāḥ prati

ye tīrtha-pramitāḥ punanti jagataḥ sad-vaidya-kalpāḥ prati
kurvantīndu-nibhāḥ kṛpāmṛta-ruco’py āpyāyayanti svayam |
susnigdhā haricandanāni kalayanty ābhūṣyanty adbhutā
ratnānīva hi tān namāmi satataṁ śrīvāsa-mukhyān muhuḥ ||
(Sādhanāmṛta-candrikā: 1.12)

“They who are manifest tīrthas that purify the world,
They who provide real medical treatment [for the world, i.e., who treat the disease of material existence itself],
They who resemble moons and personally delight [the world] with the nectarean luster of their grace,
They who finely soothe [the world] like yellow sandalwood,
They who adorn [the world] like astonishing jewels—
I offer obeisance now and forever to those [associates of Śrī Gaurāṅga] led by Śrīvāsa.”

he śrī-gadādhara śacī-suta-hārda-pātra
gāndharvikā-sukha-tano rasa-sāra-gātra |
māṁ te padābja-rajasā sadṛśaṁ vibhāvya
kīrtiṁ pracāraya nijāṁ kuśalair vibhāvya ||
(Sādhanāmṛta-candrikā: 2.16)

“O Śrī Gadādhara! O recipient of the Son of Śacī’s love! O Manifestation of Gāndharvikā’s [i.e., Rādhikā’s] joy! O Embodiment of the essence of rasa! Please consider me like a particle of dust at your lotus feet and further your own glory, which is to be meditated upon by the wise.”

he śrī-gadādhara dayā-saritāṁ patis tvaṁ

he śrī-gadādhara dayā-saritāṁ patis tvaṁ
premṇā vaśīkṛta-śacī-tanayo vibhuś ca |
padmāvatī-tanaya eva tathā vaśas te
kiṁ te bravīmi mayi muḍha-vare kṛpāyai ||
(Sādhanāmṛta-candrikā: 1.11)

“O Śrī Gadādhara! You are the master of rivers of grace [i.e., an ocean of grace]. You have capably captivated the Son of Śacī with your prema, and so too the Son of Padmāvatī is captivated by you. What can I say to you? Please bestow your grace upon me, the greatest of fools.”

yat-pādābja-nakhāgra-kānti-lavato hy ajñāna-moha-kṣayaṁ

yat-pādābja-nakhāgra-kānti-lavato hy ajñāna-moha-kṣayaṁ
yat-kāruṇya-kaṭākṣataḥ svayam asau śrī-gaura-kṛṣṇo vaśam |
yātīṣad-bhajanāc ca yasya jagatāṁ premendur antarnabho
naumi śrīla-gadādharaṁ tam atulānandaika-kalpa-drumam ||
(Sādhanāmṛta-candrikā: 1.11)

“Ignorance and illusion are dispelled by just a particle of the effulgence of the tips of the nails of his lotus feet. Śrī Gaurakṛṣṇa himself is captivated by his sidelong glance of compassion. The moon of prema arises in the inner sky of [the hearts of] living beings by [even] a little service to him. I offer obeisance unto him, Śrīla Gadādhara, the preeminent desire-tree of incomparable bliss.”

hāḍāi-paṇḍita-tanuja kṛpā-samudra
padmāvatī-tanaya tīrtha-padāravinda |
tvaṁ prema-kalpa-tarur ārti-harāvatāra
māṁ pāhi pāmaram anātham ananya-bandhum ||
(Sādhanāmṛta-candrikā: 1.9)

“O Son of Hāḍāi Paṇḍita, O Ocean of grace, O Son of Padmāvatī, O you whose lotus feet are tīrthas! You are a desire-tree of prema. O you who have descended to remove distress, please protect me, who am wretched and helpless, and have no other friend.”

audāryeṇa sukāmadhenu-diviṣad-vṛkṣendu-cintāmaṇi

audāryeṇa sukāmadhenu-diviṣad-vṛkṣendu-cintāmaṇi-
vṛndaṁ brahma-sukhaṁ ca sundaratayā kandarpa-vṛndaṁ prabhum |
vātsalyena sumātṛ-dhenu-nicayaṁ vispardhinaṁ nandinaṁ
nityānandam ahaṁ namāmi madhura-premābdhi-saṁvardhinam ||
(Sādhanāmṛta-candrikā: 1.9)

“I offer obeisance unto Nityānanda Prabhu, the full expander of the ocean of madhura-prema, who surpasses and delights the finest mothers and cows with his affection, [surpasses and delights] Kandarpas [i.e., Cupids] with his beauty, and [surpasses and delights] the finest kāmadhenus [i.e., wish-fulfilling cows], celestial trees [i.e., wish-fulfilling trees], the moon, cintāmaṇis [i.e., wish-fulfilling jewels], and the bliss of Brahman with his magnanimity.”

sad-bhaktāli-niṣevitāṅghri-kamalaṁ kundendu-śuklāmbaraṁ
śuddha-svarṇa-ruciṁ subāhu-yugalaṁ smerānanaṁ sundaram |
śrī-caitanya-dṛśaṁ varābhaya-karaṁ premāṅga-bhūṣāñcitam
advaitaṁ satataṁ smarāmi paramānandaika-kandaṁ prabhum ||

“The lotuses of his feet served by the bees of pure bhaktas,
His cloth kunda and moon white,
His luster pure gold,
His arms superlative,
His smiling face beautiful,
His sight on Śrī Caitanya,
His hands in [the mudrās of] benediction and refuge,
His figure adorned with the ornaments of prema—
I continuously meditate on Advaita Prabhu, the sole root of the highest bliss.”

premāmṛtābdhau parimagna-cittam |
caitanya-candrādṛtam arcitaṁ tam
advaita-candraṁ śirasā namāmi ||
(Gaura-govindārcana-smaraṇa-paddhati: 22)

“I offer obeisance with my head unto him, Advaitacandra, the gracious deliverer of countless persons, whose heart is completely submerged in the ocean of the nectar of prema, and who is honored and worshipped by Caitanyacandra.”

ke vābhavan na hi śacī-tanayasya dāsāḥ |
premāmbudhau ca sahasā bata ke na magnā
āśāpi no bhavati me bata kiṁ bravīmi ||
(Sādhanāmṛta-candrikā: 1.10)

“O Advaita! Who by your compassion and glances of love has not become a servant of the son of Śacī? Bata! And who has not fortunately become submerged in the ocean of prema? I [however] don’t have even hope. Bata! What shall I say?”

yena śrī-harir īśvaraḥ prakaṭayāñ cakre kalau rādhayā
premṇā yena maheśvareṇa sakalaṁ premāmbudhau plāvitam |
viśvaṁ viśva-prakāśi-kīrtim atulaṁ taṁ dīna-bandhuṁ prabhum
advaitaṁ satataṁ namāmi hariṇādvaitaṁ hi sarvārthadam ||
(Sādhanāmṛta-candrikā: 1.10)

“He by whom Īśvara Śrī Hari was manifested with Rādhā in [the Age of] Kali, the Maheśvara by whose prema the entire world became flooded in an ocean of prema, he whose glory manifest throughout the world is unparalleled—I continuously offer obeisance unto him, the friend of the humble and bestower of all arthas, Advaita Prabhu, who is non-different (“advaita”) from Hari.”
