वेणुनादसुधावृष्ट्या निष्क्रमय्योक्तिमाधुरीम् ।
यासां नः पाययामास कृष्णस्ता एव नो गतिः ॥
veṇu-nāda-sudhā-vṛṣṭyā niṣkramayyokti-mādhurīm |
yāsāṁ naḥ pāyayāmāsa kṛṣṇas tā eva no gatiḥ ||

“Our refuge is they [i.e., the Vraja-gopīs,] the sweetness of whose speech Kṛṣṇa, with a shower of nectar in the form of the sound of his flute, drew out and caused us to drink.”
