तत्रत्यं यच्च तद्दुःखं तत्सर्वसुखमूर्धसु ।
स नरीनर्ति शोकश्च कृत्स्नानन्दभरोपरि ॥
tatratyaṁ yac ca tad duḥkhaṁ tat sarva-sukha-mūrdhasu |
sa narīnarti śokaś ca kṛtsnānanda-bharopari ||

“The sorrow existing there [i.e., in Goloka] dances vigorously atop the heads of all forms of happiness, and the grief [existing there] dances vigorously above the multitude of all forms of bliss.”
Commentary
nanu śrī-kṛṣṇa-viraheṇa pūrvavad duḥkhaṁ paryavasyad eva tatrāha—tatratyam iti | śrī-goloka-bhavaṁ tat śrī-kṛṣṇa-virahādi-kṛtaṁ duḥkhaṁ sarveṣāṁ sukhānāṁ mūrdhasu samyak narīnarti bhṛśaṁ nṛtyati | sarvebhyo’pi sukhebhyo’dhika-sukhamayam ity arthaḥ | ukta-samuccaye ca-kāraḥ | tatratyaḥ sa śokaś ca kṛtsnānām ānandānāṁ bharasyopari saṁnarīnarti sarvānandādhikatara ity arthaḥ | etac ca śrī-kṛṣṇa-prema-viśeṣa-svābhāvikaṁ prāg-vivṛtam asty eva | evam ayam api tal-loka-svabhāva eveti ca-kārāt jñeyam ||

“‘Well, as a result of separation from Śrī Kṛṣṇa [which will inevitably be experienced by those who live in Kṛṣṇaloka], one’s happiness will culminate in sorrow as previously [i.e., as in one’s experience in saṁsāra; therefore one can’t really be happy by living in Kṛṣṇaloka].’ To this [doubt], the present verse (tatrayam …) is spoken. The sorrow existing in Śrī Goloka created by separation from Śrī Kṛṣṇa and so on vigorously dances in full (narīnarti) atop the heads of all forms of happiness. It is filled with greater happiness than all other forms of happiness. This is the meaning. The ‘ca’ applies to the stated conjunction of words. The grief existing there dances in full above the multitude of all forms of bliss; it is greater than all the forms of bliss. This is the meaning. This particular natural quality of Śrī Kṛṣna-prema has also been described earlier. Furthermore, that this is [also] the nature of that loka [i.e., Goloka] should also be known from the ‘ca’.
