भक्तिप्रभावेण विचारजातैः
सञ्जायमानेन सदेदृशैस्त्वम् ।
विघ्नातिविघ्नान्किल जेयसीह
सर्वत्र ते हन्त वयं सहायाः ॥
bhakti-prabhāveṇa vicāra-jātaiḥ
sañjāyamānena sadedṛśais tvam |
vighnātivighnān kila jeṣyasīha
sarvatra te hanta vayaṁ sahāyāḥ ||
(Bṛhad Bhāgavatāmṛta: 2.3.173)
[Vaikuṇṭhā-vāsīs to Gopa Kumāra:] “By the power of bhakti, accumulated by varieties of such continuous deliberation, you will certainly conquer all obstacles, [even] the greatest obstacles. Hanta! In this, everywhere we are your supporters.”
Commentary
nanu bahu-vighnākulasya me īdṛśī nāma-saṅkīrtana-niṣṭhā kutaḥ syāt ? tatrāhuḥ—bhaktīti | … nanu mahatāṁ kṛpayā vinā na kim api syāt ? tatrāhuḥ—iha asmin vighna-jaye vicārāvirbhāve vā anyatra sarvatrāpi vayam eva tava sahāyāḥ | hanta harṣe |

“[A question arises:] ‘Well, how can I, who am disturbed by numerous obstacles, attain such fixity in nāma-saṅkīrtana?’ To this [question], it is said bhakti … [i.e., the first three lines of this verse are spoken]. … [Hearing this, another question arises:] ‘Well, how can that come about without the grace of great souls?’ To this [question], it is said: ‘In this (iha), that is, in regard to conquering obstacles, or, in regard to the manifestation of deliberation, or elsewhere, indeed everywhere, we are your supporters.’ Hanta is in [the sense of] delight.”
