स्वयं प्रवर्तितैः कृत्स्नैर्ममैतल्लिखनश्रमैः ।
श्रीमच्चैतन्यरूपोऽसौ भगवान्प्रीयतां सदा ॥

svayaṁ pravartitaiḥ kṛtsnair mamaital-likhana-śramaiḥ |
śrīmac-caitanya-rūpo’sau bhagavān prīyatāṁ sadā ||

“May he, Bhagavān,
Possessed of the form of blessed Caitanya,
Always be pleased
With the entirety of this writing effort of mine
Prompted by himself.”

A second translation in accord with the second intended meaning of the verse:

“May he,
Divine Rūpa [the dear servant] of blessed Caitanya,
Always be pleased
With the entirety of this writing effort of mine
Prompted by himself.”

Commentary

śrīmān caitanyaḥ caitanya-saṁjñayā prasiddhaḥ śrī-śacī-nandanas tat-svarūpaḥ tan-mūrtir bhagavān śrī-kṛṣṇa-devaḥ pakṣe śrīmān caitanyasya tasyaiva priya-sevako rūpas tat-saṁjñako vaiṣṇava-varaḥ | tataś ca bhagavān iti—āyatiṁ niyatiṁ caiva bhūtānām āgatāgatim | vetti vidyām avidyāṁ ca sa vācyo bhagavān iti ||’ ity abhiprāyeṇeti dik |

‘Blessed Caitanya’ (śrīman Caitanya) refers to the blessed Son of Śacī, who is well known by the name Caitanya. Bhagavān refers to Śrī Kṛṣṇadeva, who is of that nature, that is, of that form [i.e., who is well known to possess the selfsame form of Śrī Caitanya, the Son of Śacī, meaning, Śrī Caitanya is known to be a form of Bhagavān Śrī Kṛṣṇa]. Alternately, [Śrīmac-caitanya-rūpaḥ can be taken to mean ‘Rūpa of blessed Caitanya,’ that is,] Rūpa, the exalted Vaiṣṇava possessed of that name [i.e., Rūpa] who is a dear servant of his in particular, that is, of blessed Caitanya, and for that reason is [called] ‘divine’ (bhagavān) as per the meaning [of the word bhagavān in Viṣṇu Purāṇa 6.5.78], ‘One who knows the future, fortune, birth, rebirth, knowledge, and ignorance of living beings is fit to be called ‘divine’ (bhagavān).”
