सर्वार्थशक्तियुक्तस्य देवदेवस्य चक्रिणः ।
यथाभिरोचते नाम तत्सर्वार्थेषु कीर्तयेत् ॥
sarvārtha-śakti-yuktasya deva-devasya cakriṇaḥ |
yathābhirocate nāma tat sarvārtheṣu kīrtayet ||
(Viṣṇu-dharmottara; cited in Hari-bhakti-vilāsa: 11.304)
“One should chant that name of the Wielder of the cakra, the Deva of devas endowed with the śakti of all objects, as one likes [i.e., as per the specific taste one feels for a particular name] for the sake of [attaining] all objects.”
Commentary
yasya ca yan-nāmni prītiḥ tena tad eva sevyaṁ tenaiva tasya sarvārtha-siddhir iti … |

“That particular name [of Śrī Bhagavān] for which he [i.e., a particular person] has affection (prīti) is to be worshiped [i.e., chanted] by him, and his attainment of all objects shall occur specifically by means of that [particular name].”
