“[Rahūgaṇa to Jaḍa Bharata:] It is certainly not astonishing that by [touch of] the dust of your lotus feet pure bhakti to Adhokṣaja has manifest within me, whose sin has been dispelled, since my indiscrimination rooted in wrong argumentation has been destroyed by [just] momentary association with you.”

(Excerpt from the Sārārtha-darśinī-ṭīkā)
“Pure bhakti to Bhagavān, difficult to attain even for Brahmā, Indra, and others, manifests just by attaining the dust of your feet—[but] even this is not astonishing. This, rather, is astonishing: if the mind of persons like myself, who are misguided by a jot of knowledge and engulfed in highly erroneous reasoning, become intent upon bhakti-yoga because of only momentary association [with you], then who can express the greatness of prolonged association [with mahātmās like you]?”
