“Only there [i.e., in the land of Vraja] has the clearly evident, variegated magnificence, graciousness, excellence of figure, sweetness of complete greatness, splendor of play, and subservience to bhaktas of Prabhu reached the pinnacle.”
Commentary
Śrī Sanātana Gosvāmīpāda comments that “only there” (amutraiva) means only in the land of Śrī Mathurā-Vraja (Śrī-Mathurā-Vraja-bhūmāv eva) and that “clearly evident” (sphuṭā) and “variegated” (vividhā) are to be supplied as qualifiers all throughout (asya vividhety asya ca tathā sphuṭety asyāpi sarvatraivānuṣaṅgaḥ), meaning, to the “magnificence” (vibhūtiḥ), “graciousness,” (kṛpālutā), “excellence of figure” (surūpatā), “sweetness of complete greatness” (aśeṣa-mahattva-mādhurī), “splendor of play” (vilāsa-lakṣmīḥ) and “subservience to bhaktas” (bhakta-vaśyatā) of Śrī Bhagavān.
