pitā tvaṁ mātā tvaṁ dayita-tanayas tvaṁ priya-suhṛt

pitā tvaṁ mātā tvaṁ dayita-tanayas tvaṁ priya-suhṛt
tvam eva tvaṁ mitraṁ gurur api gatiś cāsi jagatām |
tvadīyas tvad bhṛtyas tava parijanas tad-gatir ahaṁ
prapannaś caivaṁ sa tv aham api tavaivāsmi hi bharaḥ ||
(Stotra-ratna: 57)

“You are the father, you are the mother, you are the beloved son, you are the dear well-wisher, you are the friend, you are the guru, and you are the shelter of the world. I am yours, I am your servant, I am your attendant, and I hold you as my shelter. I am surrendered unto you, and as such I am indeed your responsibility [i.e., your dependent].”

tasmād bhavantam anavadyam ananta-pāraṁ

tasmād bhavantam anavadyam ananta-pāraṁ
sarva-jñam īśvaram akuṇṭha-vikuṇṭha-dhiṣṇyam |
nirviṇṇa-dhīr aham u he vṛjinābhitapto
nārāyaṇaṁ nara-sakhaṁ śaraṇaṁ prapadye ||
(Śrīmad Bhāgavatam: 11.7.18)

“[Uddhava to Kṛṣṇa:] U he [i.e., O Bhagavān]! Therefore I, of despondent mind and [thus] stricken with distress, take shelter in you, the flawless, endless and boundless, all-knowing Capable One, you whose abode is unchecked Vaikuṇṭha, you who are the refuge of [all] beings [including even Mahāviṣṇu], and [still so also who are] the friend of [all] human beings [i.e., you descend to uplift them all].”

satyasya te sva-dṛśa ātmana ātmano’nyaṁ

satyasya te sva-dṛśa ātmana ātmano’nyaṁ
vaktāram īśa vibudheṣv api nānucakṣe |
sarve vimohita-dhiyas tava māyayeme
brahmādayas tanu-bhṛto bahir-artha-bhāvāḥ ||
(Śrīmad Bhāgavatam: 11.7.17)

[Uddhava to Kṛṣṇa:] “O Capable One, I do not see even among the devas a speaker suitable for me of the self-appearing Reality, the Ātmā, other than yourself, as all these embodied beings beginning with Brahmā [i.e., all the living beings that can be found within saṁsāra], their minds severely bewildered by your māyā, consider the external to be the object [i.e., they all consider the objects of the senses (viṣayas) to be the rightful focus on their awareness and endeavors].”

kula-vidyā-ādi upalakṣaṇa sakala |
sabāre poṣaye kṛṣṇa, kṛṣṇa sarva-bala ||
(Caitanya-bhāgavata: 1.7.132)

“Nobility, learning, and so on are all [merely] incidental characteristics. Kṛṣṇa nourishes everyone; Kṛṣṇa is the strength of all.”

sa jahāti matiṁ loke vede ca pariniṣṭhitām ||

“[Nārada to Prācīnabarhi:] When Bhagavān, being meditated upon within the heart, favors one, then one abandons resolute regard for the world [i.e., social conventions] and the Veda [i.e., injunctions given in the Vedas].”

na yat-prasādāyuta-bhāga-leśam
anye ca devā guravo janāḥ svayam |
kartuṁ sametāḥ prabhavanti puṁsas
tam īśvaraṁ tvāṁ śaraṇaṁ prapadye ||
(Śrīmad Bhāgavatam: 8.24.49)

[Satyavrata Rāja to Matsya Avatāra:] “The [Supreme] Person [even] a trace of a one ten-thousandth part of whose grace other devas, gurus, and persons [i.e., kings and so forth] combined are independently [i.e., independent of him] unable to grant—I take shelter in him, Īśvara—you.”

sarva-śakti-cakravartinī parama-bhāsvatī kṛpā-śaktir eva bhagavac-cittaṁ navanītam iva vidrutīkṛtya … |
(Sārārtha-darśinī-ṭīkā on Śrīmad Bhāgavatam: 10.9.18)

“The empresses of all [Bhagavān’s] śaktis, the supremely radiant kṛpā-śakti (potency of grace), melts Bhagavan’s heart like butter.”

“If Kṛṣṇa wants to kill you, then who can protect you? If Kṛṣṇa wants to protect you, then who can kill you?”

taṁ sukhārādhyam ṛjubhir ananya-śaraṇair nṛbhiḥ |
kṛtajñaḥ ko na seveta durārādhyam asādhubhiḥ ||

“What grateful person would not worship he who is easily propitiated by persons who are sincere and of undivided shelter yet difficult to propitiate for the unvirtuous [i.e., those who are the opposite]?”

jananī janma-bhūmiś ca jāhnavī ca janārdanaḥ |
janakaḥ pañcamaś caiva ja-kārāḥ pañca-durlabhāḥ ||

“Mother (jananī), the land of one’s birth (janma-bhūmi), the Ganges (Jāhnavī), Janārdana [i.e., Bhagavān], and fifthly, Father (janaka)—these five j’s are most precious to attain.”
