कोणेनाक्ष्णः पृथुरुचिः मिथो हारिणा लिह्यमाना-
वेकैकेन प्रचुरपुलकेनोपगूढौ भुजेन ।
गौरीश्यामौ वसनयुगलं श्यामगौरं वसानौ
राधाकृष्णौ स्मरविलसितोद्दामतृष्णौ स्मरामि ॥

ekaikena pracura-pulakenopagūḍhau bhujena |
gaurī-śyāmau vasana-yugalaṁ śyāma-gauraṁ vasānau

“Lapping up one another
With the charming corners
Of their broad, brilliant eyes,
Embracing [one another]
With each of their arms horripilating profusely,
Bright and dark [in complexion],
Wearing pairs of garments dark and bright [in color]—
I remember Rādhā and Kṛṣṇa,
Of unbound desire
In the midst of their play of amour.”
