(Govinda-līlāmṛta: 20.71)

“Rādhikā and her companions felt abundant delight eating the remnants of Kṛṣṇa’s food just as female swans do by eating morsels of the remnants of fine lotus stems left by their husbands, deer do by eating young shoots, bees do by eating bright flower nectar, and cakorīs do by drinking the moon’s nectar.”

(Govinda-līlāmṛta: 20.70)

“Although scant, as it was served, the food became [i.e., was felt to be] inexhaustible, since it was distributed by beloved friends [i.e., Tulasī and Kastūrī], it was the remnants of Śrī Hari, it was sweetened by the nectar from his lips, it was handled by his hand, it was desired by her [Rādhā’s] entire party, and it was glanced upon by Rādhā’s eyes.”

(Govinda-līlāmṛta: 8.8; cited in Caitanya-caritāmṛta: 3.16.119)

“[Rādhārāṇī to Viśākhā:] The amṛta of his most lustrous lips takes away the incomparable, noble women of Vraja’s thirst for [all] other rasas. A morsel of his remnants is attainable [only] by sukṛti [i.e., good fortune]. And the pan roll he has chewed made from fine leaves of betel defeats nectar. O sakhi, Madana-mohana increases the desire of my tongue.”

(Govinda-līlāmṛta: 5.42)

“Although the arrows of their side-long glances collided in mid-air, and although without breaking these arrows swiftly pierced each of their hearts, they both felt bliss. The movements of prema are indeed marvellous and mysterious.”

vande taṁ kṛṣṇa-caitanyaṁ gauraṁ kṛṣṇam api svayam |

(Attributed to Prabodhānanda Sarasvatī by Mukunda Dāsa Gosvāmī in his Artha-ratnālpa-dīpikā on Bhakti-rasāmṛta-sindhu and Rādhā Kṛṣṇa Dāsa Gosvāmī in his Daśa-śloki-bhāṣya)

“I offer obeisance unto him, Kṛṣṇa Caitanya, who is golden although he is Kṛṣṇa [alt., blackish] himself, and, being intensely desirous of Rādhā’s bhāva, has completely given up his own bhāva.”

(Govinda-līlāmṛta: 7.119)

“[Why do Rādhā Kuṇḍa and Śyāma Kuṇḍa appear to someone just like ordinary ponds and not as described here in Govinda-līlāmṛta?] All of this [i.e., the entire environment of and around Rādhā Kuṇḍa and Śyāma Kuṇḍa] shines as such [i.e., as has just been elaborately described in Govinda-līlāmṛta] in reality to persons favorable to the līlā [i.e., to nitya-siddha parikaras] and to the minds of sādhakas of manifest bhāva [i.e., to sādhakas who have attained bhāva-bhakti] but as though mundane (prākṛta) to others [i.e., to those in whom bhāva has not manifest].”

“I take shelter in him,
The gracious Śrī Kṛṣṇa Caitanya,
Astonishing in his activities,
Who cured the world
Maddened by ignorance,
And drove it thoroughly mad,
With the nectar of the wealth
[alt., the vṛddhi-tonic]
Of prema for himself.”

(Govinda-līlāmṛta: 23.94)

“This profusion of play performed by Śrī Rādhikā’s Īśa throughout the eight times [of the day] has been written by me following the direction shown [to me] by Śrī Rūpa. Sevā to him [i.e., Śrī Kṛṣṇa] and to her [i.e., Śrī Rādhikā] herein [i.e., within this līlā throughout the eight times of the day, or, here in Śrī Vṛndāvana] is to be performed continuously by sādhakas on the path of rāga with a befitting form within the mind.”
