They who resemble moons and personally delight [the world] with the nectarean luster of their grace,
They who finely soothe [the world] like yellow sandalwood,
They who adorn [the world] like astonishing jewels—

Radiant with the ornaments of true prema,
Their lusters pure gold,
Their fine figures adorned with tears, horripilation, and perspiration,
Their hands filled with service offerings,
Their faces smiling,
And their garments white—
We meditate upon them,
The best of the sādhus,
The great souls led by Śrīvāsa,

Please consider me like a particle of dust at your lotus feet and further your own glory, which is to be meditated upon by the wise.”

(Sādhanāmṛta-candrikā: 1.11)“O Śrī Gadādhara! You are the master of rivers of grace [i.e., an ocean of grace]. You have capably captivated the Son of Śacī with your prema, and so too the Son of Padmāvatī is captivated by you. What can I say to you? Please bestow your grace upon me, the greatest of fools.”
