  • premā yo’sau rādhikā-kṛṣṇa-yugmaṁ
    svānandena plāvayitvā sakhīś ca |
    śaśvad viśvaṁ plāvayan suprasiddhaḥ
    so’yaṁ buddhiṁ naḥ samiddhāṁ karotu ||

    “That prema which has inundated the couple Rādhikā and Kṛṣṇa and the sakhīs with its own bliss and which continuously inundates the universe has become very well known. May this [prema] here inflame our mind.”

  • namo’stu te mahāyogin prapannam anuśādhi mām |

    “[Uddhava to Kṛṣṇa:] May my obeisance be [offered] unto you, O greatest of yogīs. Please instruct me, who have taken shelter [in you], so that I may have everlasting rati for your lotus feet.”

    “[Consisting of] The stem of his shanks,
    The petals of his crimson, tender toes,
    The filament cluster of the radiance of his toenails,
    And the nectar of bhaktas’ śraddhā,
    And reddened by the pollen
    Of the ground kumkum from the buds of Śrī Rādhā’s breasts—
    May the lotus of the feet of Pūtanā’s Foe protect us.”

    “Therefore, without you, I do not have a master, and without me, you do not have a suitable recipient for your grace. This is our relationship, formed by destiny. O Bhagavān, please protect me; do not ever reject me.”
