“Aho! May he, Śrīmān Rūpa, again protect me, I who am sustained by the circle of those dear to him, and who, although troubled, sing aloud and hear the names of Rādhā and Mukunda, by which nectar is defeated, residing continuously near the king of mountains [i.e., Govardhana] at the lake of Gāndharvā [i.e., Rādhā Kuṇḍa] by the power of service to the dust fallen from the pair of his lotus feet.”

(Excerpt from the ṭīkā by Śrī Baṅga-vihārī Vidyālaṅkara)
“Previously he protected me from committing suicide by jumping from a precipice [on Govardhana Hill]. Now, however, the word ‘again’ (punaḥ) is indicative of obstacles and so forth to bhajana.”
After the disappearance of Śrīman Mahāprabhu and Śrī Svarūpa Dāmodara, Śrī Raghunātha Dāsa Gosvāmī came to Śrī Vraja Dhāma with the plan of committing suicide by jumping from Govardhana Hill. When he received there the association of Śrī Rūpa Gosvāmī, however, he abandoned this plan as he found that he was not only full of the will to live again but further he was receiving new insights from Śrī Rūpa Gosvāmī into the world of bhajana he had entered by the grace of Śrīman Mahāprabhu and Śrī Svarūpa Dāmodara. Śrī Raghunātha Dāsa Gosvāmī thus states in this verse that he resides at Rādhā Kuṇḍa near Govardhana and engages in hearing and chanting the names of Rādhā and Kṛṣṇa by the power of his service to the feet of Śrī Rūpa Gosvāmī and the sustenance he receives from Śrī Rūpa Gosvāmī’s followers.
