Commentary
As per Śrī Sanātanapāda commentary on BB 1.1.11, the usage of the word rūpa here can be understood to refer either to the form of Śrī Caitanyadeva or to Śrī Rūpa Gosvāmī. Moreover, as per the same aforesaid commentary, the name Caitanyadeva can be understood to refer to both Śrī Kṛṣṇa manifest in Vraja and to Śrī Kṛṣṇa manifest as Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu.
