Gadādhara Paṇḍita Gosvāmī

śrīvāsādi yata mahāprabhura bhakta-gaṇa

śrīvāsādi yata mahāprabhura bhakta-gaṇa |
nija-nija-bhāve karena caitanya-sevana ||
paṇḍita-gosāñi-ādi yāra yei rasa |
sei sei rase prabhu hana tāra vaśa ||

“All of Mahāprabhu’s bhaktas, Śrīvāsa and so forth, engage in service to Caitanya with their own respective bhāvas. Prabhu becomes captivated by Paṇḍita Gosāñi [i.e., Gadādhara Paṇḍita Gosvāmī] and others by the respective rasas which they each have.”

he śrī-gadādhara śacī-suta-hārda-pātra
gāndharvikā-sukha-tano rasa-sāra-gātra |
māṁ te padābja-rajasā sadṛśaṁ vibhāvya
kīrtiṁ pracāraya nijāṁ kuśalair vibhāvya ||

“O Śrī Gadādhara! O recipient of the Son of Śacī’s love! O Manifestation of Gāndharvikā’s [i.e., Rādhikā’s] joy! O Embodiment of the essence of rasa! Please consider me like a particle of dust at your lotus feet and further your own glory, which is to be meditated upon by the wise.”

he śrī-gadādhara dayā-saritāṁ patis tvaṁ
premṇā vaśīkṛta-śacī-tanayo vibhuś ca |
padmāvatī-tanaya eva tathā vaśas te
kiṁ te bravīmi mayi muḍha-vare kṛpāyai ||

“O Śrī Gadādhara! You are the master of rivers of grace [i.e., an ocean of grace]. You have capably captivated the Son of Śacī with your prema, and so too the Son of Padmāvatī is captivated by you. What can I say to you? Please bestow your grace upon me, the greatest of fools.”

“Ignorance and illusion are dispelled by just a particle of the effulgence of the tips of the nails of his lotus feet. Śrī Gaurakṛṣṇa himself is captivated by his sidelong glance of compassion. The moon of prema arises in the inner sky of [the hearts of] living beings by [even] a little service to him. I offer obeisance unto him, Śrīla Gadādhara, the preeminent desire-tree of incomparable bliss.”
