(Śrīmad Bhāgavatam: 3.20.18; cited in Bhagavat Sandarbha: 18)“First, he [i.e., Brahmā] emanated with his shadow fivefold avidyā (ignorance): tāmisra, andha-tāmisra, tamas, moha, and mahāmoha.”
