जलान्तश्चन्द्रचपलं जीवितं खलु देहिनाम् ।
तथाविधमिति ज्ञात्वा शश्वत्कल्याणमाचरेत् ॥
jalāntaś candra-capalaṁ jīvitaṁ khalu dehinām |
tathā-vidham iti jñātvā śaśvat-kalyāṇam ācaret ||

“Knowing the life of embodied beings to be unsteady like the reflection of the moon upon water, endeavor for your eternal welfare.”
