दुर्लभो विषयत्यागो दुर्लभं तत्त्वदर्शनम् ।
दुर्लभा सहजावस्था सद्गुरोः करुणां विना ॥
durlabho viṣaya-tyāgo durlabhaṁ tattva-darśanaṁ |
durlabhā sahajāvasthā sad-guroḥ karuṇāṁ vinā ||

“Rare is relinquishment of objects of the senses, rare is perception of truth, and rare is a natural condition without the grace of a genuine guru.”
