Baladeva Vidyābhūṣaṇa

yaḥ sāṅkhya-paṅkena kutarka-pāṁśunā

yaḥ sāṅkhya-paṅkena kutarka-pāṁśunā
vivarta-gartena ca lupta-dīdhitim |
śuddhaṁ vyadhād vāk-sudhayā maheśvaraṁ
kṛṣṇaṁ sa jīvaḥ prabhur astu me gatiḥ ||
(Baladeva Vidyābhūṣaṇa’s ṭīkā on Tattva-sandarbha: 1.4)

“With the nectar of his words, Śrī Jīva Prabhu revealed the Supreme Lord, Kṛṣṇa, whose effulgence had been hidden by the mud of Sāṅkhya, the dust of fallacious logic (kutarka, i.e, Nyāya), and the ditch of Vivarta [i.e., Māyāvāda]. May he be my shelter.”

idaṁ te nātapaskāya nābhaktāya kadācana

idaṁ te nātapaskāya nābhaktāya kadācana |
na cāśuśrūṣave vācyaṁ na ca māṁ yo’bhyasūyati ||

(Śrīmad Bhagavad-gītā: 18.67)

“[Bhagavān Śrī Kṛṣṇa:] Neither to someone who is neglectful of austerity, nor to a non-bhakta, nor to someone who does not wish to listen, nor to someone who casts aspersions on me is this [i.e., this śāstra, Śrīmad Bhagavad-gītā] ever to be spoken.”

naṣṭo mohaḥ smṛtir labdhā tvat-prasādān mayācyuta |
sthito’smi gata-sandehaḥ kariṣye vacanaṁ tava ||
(Bhagavad-gītā: 18.73)

“[Arjuna to Kṛṣṇa:] O Acyuta, by your grace, my misunderstanding is dispelled, and remembrance has been attained by me. I am steady, free from doubt. I shall follow your instruction.”

kaccid etac chrutaṁ pārtha tvayaikāgreṇa cetasā |
kaccid ajñāna-saṁmohaḥ pranaṣṭas te dhanaṁjaya ||
(Bhagavad-gītā: 18.72)

“O Pārtha, has this [i.e., the Gītā] been heard by you with a one-pointed mind? O Dhanañjaya, has your misunderstanding born of ignorance been fully dispelled?”

man-manā bhava mad-bhakto mad-yājī māṁ namaskuru |
mām evaiṣyasi satyaṁ te pratijāne priyo’si me ||
(Śrīmad Bhagavad-gītā: 18.65)

“Be of mind fixed on me, [be] my bhakta, [be] my worshipper. Offer obeisance to me. You will come to me alone. Truly, I promise you this, for you are dear to me.”
