Paramānanda

mayy arpitātmanaḥ sabhya nirapekṣasya sarvataḥ |

mayy arpitātmanaḥ sabhya nirapekṣasya sarvataḥ |
mayātmanā sukhaṁ yat tat kutaḥ syād viṣayātmanām ||
(Śrīmad Bhāgavatam: 11.14.12)
“O noble one, how can those of mind upon objects of the senses have the happiness on account of me, the Self, which those of mind offered to me, who are indifferent to everything [else], have?”

mat-sevayā pratītaṁ te sālokyādi-catuṣṭayam |
necchanti sevayā pūrṇāḥ kuto’nyat kāla-viplutam ||

“Being fulfilled by service [to me], they do not desire the four [types of mukti] beginning with sālokya [that can be] attained by service to me, much less anything else that is dissipated in time.”

“[Śukadeva Gosvāmī to Mahārāja Parīkṣit:] O descendant of Bharata! The Self of all, Bhagavān, Īśvara, Hari, is to be heard about, to be praised, and to be remembered by one desirous of fearlessness.”

apy evam arya bhagavān paripāti dīnān

“[Dhruva Mahārāja:] O Bhagavān! For those who in this [aforementioned] manner continuously worship [you], the lotus feet of you who are the embodiment of the ultimate goal (puruṣārtha-mūrti) are certainly the true blessing in comparison to [all other] blessings. Although this is so, O Master, O Bhagavān, you protect us, who are lowly, like a cow anxious to nurture a new-born calf.”

brahmānando bhaved eṣa

brahmānando bhaved eṣa cet parārddha-guṇīkṛtaḥ |
naiti bhakti-sukhāmbhodheḥ paramāṇu-tulām api ||
(Bhakti-rasāmṛta-sindhu: 1.1.38)

“If this bliss of Brahman [i.e., the bliss of samādhi in nirviśeṣa Brahman] accumulated for a parārddha [i.e., half of the life of Brahmā, fifty quadrillion years], it would not equal even an atom in the ocean of the joy of bhakti.”

ūrjitaṁ sarvato balavat paramānanda-rūpatvāt—ko hy evānyāt kaḥ prāṇyāt yad eṣa ākāśa ānando na syāt iti śruteḥ |

“‘Potent’ [alt., ‘powerful’, or, ‘excellent’] (ūrjita) means the most powerful of all, because of [Bhagavān’s form] being the embodiment of the supreme bliss, as it is stated in the Śruti [i.e., Taitirīya Upaniṣad: 2.7.1]: ‘If he, Bliss, were not present in the sky [of the heart], who indeed would breathe? Who would live?’”
