“Having revealed an ocean of various conclusions (siddhāntas) regarding rasa, the feet of Śrīmad Rūpa Gosvāmī, which are second to none in the production of unimpeded rasa and in excellently presenting lines of rasa, are to be known to be the very life of all Gauḍīya Vaiṣṇavas, and all the more [that] of the noble-minded Śrī Dāsa Gosvāmī, whose sole shelter is his [i.e., Śrī Rūpa Gosvāmī’s] lotus feet.”
