hare kṛṣṇa hare kṛṣṇa kṛṣṇa kṛṣṇa hare hare |
hare rāma hare rāma rāma rāma hare hare ||
prabhu kahe—kahilāṅ ei mahāmantra |
ihā japa’ giyā sabe kariyā nirbandha ||
ihā haite sarva-siddhi ha-ibe sabāra |
sarva-kṣaṇa bala’ ithe vidhi nāhi āra ||
(Caitanya-bhāgavata: 2.23.76–78)

“‘Hare Kṛṣṇa Hare Kṛṣṇa Kṛṣṇa Kṛṣṇa Hare Hare, Hare Rāma Hare Rāma Rāma Rāma Hare Hare.’ Prabhu said, ‘I have told you all this mahā­mantra. Chant it intently. By doing so, you will attain all perfection. Chant always. There is not other rule in this regard.’”
